Fernface — Description
The dead tree she is standing on is as gnarled and rough as she is.
This is of Fernface, one of our main antagonists in The Black Sun; she knows a secret that Spottedstar feared would come back to haunt her. Fern is about as foul as Goldenpelt, who was her one and only love; the only thing she has ever been truly loyal to.

Now she targets Brackenclaw. Spottedstar's son, in efforts to turn him against his parents. Its like a sick little joke to Fernface.

After DarkClan was disbanded, Fernface wandered for a while, i'm guessing, before she met Slate, who seasons before was just a young she-cat fit to be an apprentice, but now Slate is powerful and dark; she knows things that other cats couldn't and her bitterness toward the clans is just what Fernface needs to overthrow her old enemies. Slate could use an inside WindClan cat to weaken what she wants to destroy, so the two of them use each other to get what they want. Numerous rogues and ex-darkclan warriors are in on it as well.

I had never drawn Fernface before so this was fun; i had been meaning to for a while. Anyway, i hope that even after the fire and the relocation of the clans, Fernface will stick around and torment our heros (that may or may not be the case though, we will see where she fits in)
