Pink Camellia – 2P!Romano
It had been two years since I moved to another country, to improve my skill in fashion. I had learnt a lot so far and I thought that it was going to be really useful when I went back. I still had one more year to go before I could go back to my home country and saw the usage of my study.
I was having a two weeks break now and I spent much time in the city, looking for new inspiration. Every time I got one, I always scribbled it in my notes. There were so many types of fashion, from casual to formal. I couldn’t help but being interested in making new outfits, the ones that no one had ever thought of. Maybe a little bit from this and that would be good. Just a mixture of former and modern types.
When I was satisfied for the day, I went home and after doing all chores, I sat down before a laptop of mine and began to chat with my friends.
I kept in touch with them this way and there’s someone whom I want to always be connected with. He was the one who inspired me to the world of fashion and he also supported me. Well, to be honest, I took this study for him, so that I could be some help for him. Of course he didn’t know. It was embarrassing.
That man… his name was Flavio. Flavio Vargas.
He was like a trend setter back in college. His taste of fashion was not that bad and I actually like it.
I mostly chatted with him to tell him everything I had learnt or interesting stories. He would reply with cheerful manners and that always made me smile. I couldn’t wait to see his smile again. And his sparkling eyes. And his cheerful voice. I missed everything about him.
I really wanted to discuss what’s on my mind already, but it had to wait. Just one more year and I’d be back to meet him.
Now I was taking my leisure time by watching a movie. When it was reaching its climax, someone rang my bell. Oh no, no… I didn’t want to be interrupted in this scene. It’s not like I hadn’t watch it, but it was my favorite! That person kept ringing and I gave up.
I got up and went to my door, opening it to see a girl with a bouquet of flowers in her hands. The girl smile at you as she greeted, “Good afternoon. Are you miss (name)?”
“Yes, that’s me,” you replied.
“It’s nice to see you and I have a delivery for you, miss,” she said as she handed the bouquet.
I just simply received it, didn’t really know what happened. I never went to a florist here and it’s not my birthday or anything. I was completely confused.
“I’m sorry, but who is it from?” I asked the girl and she smiled again.
“Oh, my apologies, it’s from Mr. Flavio Vargas.”
Hearing the name made me more confused. How on earth?
“If you’re confused, Mr Flavio is from Italy. He made a phone call to our shop and told us to deliver these flowers to miss (name).”
That made thing clearer. I thanked her once again before she went for another errand. I held the bouquet and found they were lovely. The pink color was soft and it made your mind at ease somehow.
I sat on my couch and while admiring the flowers, I found a card. I opened it and there was writing in it.
Dear (name),
Ciao, bella~ I’m sure you’re so confused right now, right? But don’t worry I’m still in Italy, working in my shop.
I see that you have gone through two years of your study and now you have one year left before returning home. Good luck with it, do your best always! J Anyway, we’re all really fine here. We can’t wait to see you at the airport next year! XD Also I want to see how much you improve your skill, bella. I can’t wait!
I giggled while reading it. Man, he shouldn’t do something like this, with the flowers and all. He could tell me that from the chat.
Well, (name), to be honest, it get quiet after you left. I felt so lonely. I thought I can bear with it, but as time passed, I find that I can’t. I know I can chat with you every night, but it’s not enough.
I raised a brow when I read this one.
That’s why I want to express my feelings. Though I don’t know what to do at first, I thought that maybe flowers can do. I give these flowers just for you, bella. I hope you understand how I feel.

When I read it, I was actually really happy. He went through all that just for me. But I still don’t understand what he meant. And I’d feel really guilty if I didn’t find out.
I looked at the flowers, they were pink, but I don’t know their name. I looked at the card again and found something more.

Well, in case you don’t know the flowers, it’s called Camellia.
And the pink ones mean: Longing For You.
Once I read it, I felt tears made their way to my eyes. The tears fell on my cheeks. I cried. It was just strange feelings I had right now. I cried out of sadness and happiness.
I also missed you Flavio. I also want to meet you again.
I longed for the time we spent together.
