Chapter 1: Cards & Revelation
The Lunch bell rang Students scurried to the cafeteria to eat their lunch and gossip about their favorite things, tell their plans for the rest of the day among other things. Sitting on a circular table along with a few other people was a chocolate Skinned Boy with Spiky black hair, a dog tag like pendant around his neck that hung on a thin silver chain, a Silver thick Bracelet on his left arm and a silver ring on his index finger along with a orange spiked shell on his back. He was a koopa That went by the name on Brandy there were a few like him around the school some he was friends with some he wasn’t friends with, In fact there were 8 koopas in the school he was on bad terms with ever since there were admitted in the school cus all they did was to cause mayhem and they always got away with it. But right now they were the least of his worries, as he ate his tuna & egg sandwich he got into conversation with one of the ones sitting with him.

“So Aiden have you gotten in touch with Amber these days?” Brandy asked wile munching his lunch.

Sitting next to him was a Red Hawk that wore blue rimmed goggles with green tinted frames on his head and who had Light purple eyes who was eating Yakitori

“Tried to contact her last night got no response but I’m sure she’s fine she can take care of herself”

“You don’t know Stella like me she can be brutal at times”

“Ahh you worry too much she’s a strong girl” said a third Voice

Sitting in front of the 2 was another Hawk who was slurping up a bowl of Ramen, He was blue all over and had long blue hair and Bangs with Dark Blue tips at the end along with red & black Marking on each side of his face just above his eyes and had the same purple colored eye like Aiden but a darker shade he was called Aisu and was the older brother of Aiden

“It’s normal that I worry about her it’s been 6 weeks since her and Stella have left the house and we haven’t got any news since” Brandy articulated trough a mouthful of sandwich.

“You’re a worry rat you know that” Aisu sighed slurping trough the rest of his ramen.

The trio headed out to the school grounds for the rest of break the Summer sun was beating down harshly and the little shade they could find wasn’t enough to keep cool, as they went to sit under a tree they noticed a large group surrounding near the Gym area it was a popular playing spot where a lot of student liked to play their favorite games and other things

“What’s up with the crowd over there” Uttered Aiden looking with curiosity

“C’mon lets find out” Brandy said heading to the crowed the two brothers following behind

As they approached they saw that 2 individuals playing a card game one that brandy recognized in seconds he was the same species as him only he had yellow skin and a long blue Mohawk and a blue star on the side of his head

“Larry Koopa what are you up too this time?” Brandy hissed trough gritted teeth

Larry looked up and gave Brandy one of his sinister smiles one brandy knew all too well

“ohhhh just playing a match of Regal Rummy and this poor boy had the honor of betting his lunch money for the next 2 weeks if he lost”

Brandy was shocked Larry was known to be cruel but to take advantage of the weak was something he couldn’t stand

“Unnnnnllleeeeessss you wanna take this poor boy’s place then that can be arranged keheheh” Larry sneered in a mocking tone

Brandy placed a hand on the boys shoulder looking him in the eye

“how much did you lose ?”

“O-over $35”

“How long did it take you to save that much?”

“About 2 weeks”

Brandy was stunned this poor lad was clearly a easy target for getting bullied seeing how easy he gave into Larry’s demands

“ok Larry you got a deal ill be your opponent”

“ahahah good to hear” Larry cackled as he started shuffling the card deck

“Brandy you sure he’s know for cheating” Aisu said looking at Larry wanting to punch the daylight out of him

“I got this Aisu trust me, what’s the bet Larry”

“Your jewelry you have on you I’m sure king dad would love those”

Brandy almost bit his tongue his jewels were his prized possession they were his birth gift Larry sure knew where to hit

“You’re on” he said as he set his jewelry aside

Larry started distributing 7 cards each Brandy got a 5 of Clubs a Queen of Hearts a King of Diamonds a 2 of Clubs a Queen of Clubs a 7 of Hearts & a Jack of Diamonds wile Larry got a 3 of Spades a Jack of Hearts a 7 of Spades a Ace of Spades a 3 of Diamonds a 9 of Hearts and a Ace of Hearts
