The Spider got buff!
I feel like the attention in this work is on Mary Jane even though there isn't much detail. Wow more I think of it the more it says, because you would think the focus is on him because of all the detail and the drama but the darkness and the doorway frames her. She is lit up and not focused on. There is surely more that could be interpreted well done indeed sir!
Side note: I'm overdue for sleep so I can't do my thoughts justice (haha I'm listening to Justice right now) at the moment but yeah sparked something strong.

Mhm, that was definitely something I wanted to achieve - glad it reads like that! I hoped peeps would sorta go looking for Spidey's mask when they see he's not wearing it, and find it in MJ's hand - noting her relevance in the setup.
And yep - buff Spidey! I imagine this in the later years of his career. Still putting on that suit and facing his foes.
