Strip 0059 — Description
Struggling Artist Productions was a sprite comic I did after being inspired by the Bob & George comic. I wanted to do something with sprites customized to look like people I knew, so the comic started off as a strip about work(Calgary Co-op). It then evolved into a strip also about going to art school(ACAD), and that's where things kind of fell apart.

I'd built a large fan base for the comic at work since everyone there could more or less relate and knew the characters in person. Once I started including ACAD in-jokes, nobody at work got them. Also, things literally fell apart when I became too busy with schoolwork to actually continue the strip, and so here it floats, in comic hell.

Another one of my favourite sprites: standin' there with arms crossed and a snarky grin on his face. Ah, he's such an ass.

I thought I'd take this opportunity to expand a bit more upon the kind of relationship Author Dave had with the comic he'd created. That's basically the point behind a lot of what he's talking about in this strip.
