Description
I guess ASAP meant tonight.I upload this after doing my finger painting tree. LOL *feels like a 3 year old with fingerpaints*
ANYWAY. This is an overdue request for He requested that my chakat fursona and his were embracing and meeting.
The traditional chakat saying for such greetings or goodbyes is "Tail high!", so I thought I'd add that. And look! Blackstar's black star. I wanted to make it visible. Hir angle took a little work, but I think it came out okay.
Enjoy ~ChakatBlackstar ! Hope you like it

Please forgive me, but I'm a tad lost =/ I've not heard of that book before. This was done as a request/gift for something, with no intent of anything except showing a hug between two fursonas. If there is any relation to a book or series or other characters, that was completely unintentional and unrelated. "Tail high" is what chakats say as a form of hello.

It's not your fault. Nothing about the Chakat universe is original. Or interesting. Or sexy. Or tolerable. Or painless. Or touching. Or non-nausea inducing....
...Bottom line, Chakats are bad. VERY bad. Stay as far away from them as possible. Please.

I know this is an old comment, but as far as I can tell the only thing that's a 'Rip-off' is the phrase 'Tail High'. Apparently it was used by a feline-like race known as the Vegians in the book you mentioned, (Haven't heard of the Vegians nor The Vortex Blaster until today, had to google it). Although from what I read, the phrase was used as a battle cry for the Vegians, and a way of saying hello/goodbye by Chakats. So that's at least one difference.
Anyways, so what? It's a simple phrase both used by felinoid species. It's not much of a rip off if you ask me.

They aren't males. I'm a female irl, and Blackstar is a male irl. Chakats are hermaphrodites, meaning male and female at the same time.
The front paws are meant to look like hands, and are thusly entitled "hand paws". They help the chakats to loosely grip things, and have extended fifth toes.
Yep, chakats are a very interesting species
Thanks so much for the comment!
