Description
A guy on SRK was looking for an artist to design some art to go behind his homemade MAME cabinet. He was looking for somebody that could recreate the famous Ryu illustration from the Akiman painting as well as Chun-Li in the same style. Thankfully I remembered that Akiman had painted Chun-Li in the same fashion years before for the SF III Third Strike promo on the PS2. So I put both paintings in Illustrator and recreated them as best I could. Here is the result.Related content

thanks for the kind words. Akiman is such a great painter. When a hack like me redoes it in Illustrator I feel like I'm dumbing down his art.
