June entry - IP Pageant — Description
Late due to a week-long summer camp with no Internet and some Internet/scanner troubles once I got back. Also, my gold pen went "HA SCREW YOU" and dripped ink all over his suit.
Yaotzin doesn't like wearing shirts due to some rather large patches of sensitive skin, but he managed to find a nice soft undershirt. He also had some pants difficulties (couldn't bend his legs properly with the cloth over both joints), so this is what he ended up with.
Small kitty Buckoe is reasonably obedient about not running away from Yaotzin, so he came along. I'm not sure if the pink on Buckoe's collar counts as fulfilling one of the bonus challenges, since there's very little of it. Pink isn't really Yaotzin's color.

I am not entirely proud of this. Looked neater before I colored it. Does anyone have any tips on either getting marker ink to behave or making colored pencils color smoothly? Or, alternately, is there a good way for me to color in a scanned sketch without a tablet/pen? I only have the tiny touchpad thing on my laptop.
