Description
Jeih & Aryian put into perspective.
This set of images originated from a brief explanation of what Locks are in response to a question on my blog, for full context you can read the post here: crispyfishsticks.tumblr.com/po…
Shortly put, even though Jeih is decently sized for a Lock (a living/sentient void), as a lesser will he is a gnat when measured against an indomitable will such as Aryian.

Locks are sooo great how did you came up with something like that :0
Btw I wonder if this is an actual form of them... I thought they were naturally rather snake-ishh
Edit: read your post... and my question is answered. Really awesome concept

To be clear, he is already that big or he grows that big to make annoying-brat stop?

He's already that size. The discrepancy between them is what makes Jeih's pestering so irrational (according to most Locks) and amusing.

By the way, hoping I still got your attention, I never really understood why Locks bother with human beings. All I know about them is their most basic physics, and that alone tells me they really shouldn't be interested in us, and still they take our shape and interact with us. Why? Do we have equal inteligence? Do they function according to another nature where lesser beings are revered/admired? Are we the one species with the highest evolution other than theirs? Why do they bother with us?

You could ask why they bother interacting with any of the other sentient alien species in the multitudes of Empires they helped spawn throughout the cosmos, humans are not unique to the question. It all goes back to them finding some intrinsic value in interacting with certain members of other species, and that value outweighing the drive to consume everything like they were supposedly born to do.

Lol the never ending echo of poke noises accompanied by laughter in the deep of space. XD
In size wise is it because Aryian is older that he is a large black hole state, and Jeih a much smaller size?

Technically they're the same age if you're counting the time they've both existed although with Locks 'age' is more defined by how long they've been conscious of that existence (so Aryian is a couple billion years older). Their size is not indicative of age, though, they're both the same sizes they were when they were 'born'.

That is fascinating, so all known Locks that exist through their age of being are all the same age, but their when they gain conscious is their 'birth'. Was this common before they lost their ability to mate? And with their sizes after being 'born' can they chose how large or small they appear in Lock form?....do you have a information page somewhere? I would like to learn more.

Wow! The theory of locks put in three pictures, as well as the huge difference between Aryan and Jeih, as size and temperament.
... And why do I have the sensation Ary is going to hop on Jeih in lock form for this very annoying poking?

Since Locks are technically black holes.... Does this mean they are born from stars? Sorry if this has already been explained.

Haha, Jeih is so tiny. That's adorable. And this explanation thing, adds to how amazing I think these Locks are.
