Description
Maka is Soul Eater Evans's (called Soul in the series) Scythe Meister (she wields him in his weapon form). As such, she stands out as the female protagonist and one of the main Meisters in the story. Of all the main characters, she is the most normal and civilized of the group, which provides a significant balance to the other main characters. She is arguably the smartest person at her school and likes to read very frequently (she attempts to solve most of her problems by studying them in books). When irritated, she also uses any book she has on hand as a weapon to perform her signature "Maka Chop". This is an exquisite series except for the ending; I mean literally until the very last episode... Despite the ending though, it's worth a watch. I need to read the manga at some point!
