I worked reeeeeeeeeaaaal hard on all the images contained within this ref, gettin a little more pleased with how my pictures turn out on a smaller scale. It took me way longer than it should have though and I apologize to all the other people waiting on art from me.

One thing you could try is just giving yourself a bigger canvas and zooming out a little, then when you've got linework you're happy with, go zoom in a little and try adding all the details and coloring that way.
I've a hard time with managing higher resolution pictures, myself, but I think it just takes a little practice.

I think your brother hit the nail on the head with the fact that you get the poses so well. The shading and textures are something I can never get right but the anatomy and pose brings the most out of these

Little question on the 'melt'thingy...so he can melt himself and THEn take another shape..or is that just a extra = changing and melting are one different thing?

most people use melting as a means of changing shape, the liquifying and loosing the look of ones original state then forming into another so no not separate.

I love your ref sheets so much I actually took the time to download it on dial up while I'm here at home.
6 minutes later, and it's beautiful. I adore the shading on the black, and while all of it is lovely, I particularly like his feet in the first image. I'm not sure why, I think just the shape and shading seem so perfect.
Makes me wish I had a character suitable for this kind of sheet

Oh and I must say that his Dragon form is mighty pleasing to the eye 
I also love how simple the color scheme is, although it's very sleek and clean looking. The deep blue eyes are a nice contrast with the blacks, grays and whites.
Anyways, wonderful work as always. The detail you put into your refs are always so organized and helpful
