Some long overdue fanart!I tried to stick to the similar design of the artists own drawing, but alas, I'm not so good at not adding little details here and there.

I tried my best to stay true to the original picture of her as a Sonic character, apparently I did well. :3

I had a truly godawful day today.
I got hit on by a bunch of 23 year old perverts, yelled at by my supervisor for a trivial matter (one price tag, ONE, not written correctly WTF), dug my nails so hard into a 19 year old's wrist I drew a considerable amount of blood (for trying to put a hand up my shirt when I was bent over straightening up some books; so much blood that he's trying to press charges), yelled at a woman to keep her goddamned legs closed (two kids in either arm, two in the pram and four running amok in my section that I spent three hours recategorising and tidying up), spent several more hours mopping some guy's vomit in my section because some dumbshit teenager dared him to drink something that doesn't agree with the stomach (re: mildly poisonous), and finally to cap it all off was told nothing I was doing was good enough for the place I'm part-timing for. End result of my day = I walked off the job four hours before my shift was through I didn't come back.
I get home...and I find this, this glorious piece of AWESOMENESS in my DeviantART inbox. I just about wept ;~;
You made my nightmarish hell of a day oh so all the more tolerable. I'm not going back to that job, but I don't feel so darned guilty about walking out on them anymore.

Vee-Jay looks fucking awesome incarnate in your style, seriously. I can't do her any justice but everyone else has no trouble with making her look exactly like I picture her in my head XD

Dude, your style is one of the main things I love about you. It's that personal style that feels like it's been in comics since forever. You took a Sonic-based concept image I had barely refined of Vee-Jay and made it totally HER. You took my personage and made her fucking awesome. I've been struggling 19 years to make her look this good and you did it in one fanart. I'm both in awe and freakin' inspired now.
Base, you never stop being this awesome, k? I'll kick your @$$ if you ever do!

I'm afraid I'm not shitting you. I always worry my fanart won't be recieved well by the person its for, I'm not expecting any outlashes, I just worry anyway.

Awesomly done XD I really like her grin and pose the most here lol and it's okay if you added stuff here and there, I like the fact you add more detail to your drawings X3

I did my best to stay true to the image I was using as reference, but I added a pocket and a couple buttons, I couldn't help myself ._.;
Also the collar wasn't up on the other image.
