I drew what was basically a stick figure, then built the body up around it. Once I was happy with that, I went over it with pens, with a few different tips for certain details.

Actually, I was inspired by Hayate Liger from the anime "Zoids: Genesis". Is there something you'd recommend so I could improve it?

I don't watch anime, so I couldn't say much.

The line work looks like you scanned it in and used the burn tool to make the lines, so it looks wonky. That's about it.

Huh. I actually posted it directly after scanning it in, so I hadn't used any tools yet. It's still a work in progress, so I'll definitely take this into consideration. Thanks for the advice.
