Geometry - a little drawing. charcoal and chalk on toned paper. 5x10 inch. I'd like to give credit where credit is due, I'd seen a self-photograph of this woman here on DA, and I drew this based on that photograph but I haven't been able to find her account since I drew this... anyway I just enjoyed drawing this and you know her please thank her for me. Thank you. And yes I agree that the charcoal and chalk were the best medium for this piece. I was originally going to do this as an oil painting... glad I chose otherwise.
No, he photo I used as a ref was not cropped like the drawing. I liked the flow of the line that the turn of her gaze created along the side of her face down her neck and shoulder and wanted to highlight that point of view. I quite enjoyed drawing her.
