well, in this case it's more I'm YOUR fan, Kit!

I really love the look of MGS characters, and I've watched my friends play some games, but I myself am pretty terribly at most games outside of RPGs. I get all nervous with shooters. Or I find I'd rather not shoot the person at all, hahah...

So I'm a fan of the games who's never actually played them?

That's cool, we're fans of each other then : D
by the way MGS is pretty unique in the fact that you don't actually have to kill anyone,
you can complete the whole game by just knocking people out, distracting them with magazines or running away and avoiding combat altogether! When you have no choice but to fight you can use a tranquilizer gun to put them to sleep.
(bosses take quite a few darts though!)
