Description For an upcoming art competition later this week!

Ironically, I started working on this illustration as a homage to my love of Ancient Egyptian artwork, but as the events in Egypt unfolded, the picture took a different meaning. This is the first time that current events and current-day controversial issues have had an effect on my artwork!

This is gorgeous. I love that you've incorporated all the going-ons in Egypt right now as a reflection of how Egypt has transformed through its existence. I love all of the little details and yet it seems very clean and simple looking.
