My own son... — Description
Scar could not believe this - Mheetu, his firstborn and heir to Scar's throne was confronting him - the Pridelands were constantly losing herds upon herds of animals due to hyenas' never-ending greed for food. Scar spent a lot of time with his son, and truly loved him - so Mheetu's words were both shocking, as well as anger-inducing...
"You're destroying the Pridelands! Mother sees it, Sarabi sees it, we ALL see it!" - Mheetu stood up with his full height - he, even though a teen, was already as tall as Scar, which made Scar both proud as well as intimidated - Mheetu was standing in front of him, as if ready to challenge his old man.
"How dare you! You don't understand anything! Hyenas are our allies, if you fail to see this you're just as moronic as that old nag Sarabi!" - Scar started growling, reminding who is in charge here - he was Mheetu's father AND his king.
"Allies? They are tearing these lands apart, and if you dare to ignore this, I'll have to take action!" - Mheetu got closer to Scar's face - that's when Scar fully realized that his son wasn't just concerned, he was FURIOUS, and that he might actually challenge him...
"You're a god damn moron, father." - Mheetu snarled at his father.
"What... how dare you!" Scar though - how could his own SON DARE to act so?! "I am not just your daddy dearest, I'm your goddamn KING! Challenge me if you dare, but the consequences will be dire!" Scar growled back. Mheetu could easily beat him, but hyenas weren't that far so Scar is always protected.. after all, there were a few rogues roaming here and there, but Scar managed to scare them all off with his hyena "army". But fighting his own son?..
"..." - Mheetu didn't answer. He just exhaled some air straight into Scar's face in a very mocking manner and turned around to walk back to the Pride rock. He wouldn't fight his father unless there was a reason for it.. and for now, he feels like he did his part in opening his King's eyes.. for now.

This was one of the last conversations Scar and Mheetu had - time passed and situation in Pridelands was getting more and more dire, Mheetu was going to challenge his father but instead left - he never got to truly fight Scar, because his mother, Sarafina, jumped between the two males and interrupted the fight. She managed to convince Mheetu to leave - she saw how Scar was getting more and more corrupted with power and greed, how he failed to see the big picture, and soon, Sarafina was sure, soon Scar will lose it completely.
