Book ARE really cool! I love to read! I just got finished with the last (so far) in the Game of Thrones series. Love reading them while watching the show! About to start on the final in the Sookie Stackhouse series (definitely better than the show True Blood though...) kinda sad they are at the end so Ive put off reading it til now.

Books are so wonderful, and that is the great thing about them, sometimes you imagine the world to yourself, and you can be within that world at your own pace.
It's hard when they do transfer books to movies/tv. Sometimes it goes really well and they might stick to the books very closely, or other times it kind of goes in a different direction. It is also interesting to see how some characters are represented by actors. There have been times when an actor has been better then I imagined, and other times worse. xD

Yep. The only thing I hate about books is that sadness that comes over me when I'm reading the finale in a sequel that I love. Too depressing. *sniffles*
i agree about books turned movies/television shows. Most often they are awful but every once in awhile they really get it right. I couldn't have imagined the Harry Potter series any other way. Perfect actors, perfectly done for the big screen.
same with the actors for Game of Thrones. Most of these characters were perfectly chosen which makesme love the show all the more.
