this is a redraw of this drawing:

It's from summer 2015, shortly before I started making Hetalia-fanart, so it's pretty old...
The old drawing looks... nah it could look worse I think xD
But I liked the design of this mermaid character, I changed some details to make it look a bit more interesting.
The background didn't improve much, I could make it better, but I tried to focus on the character. and I was lazy
