Indeed. I was just so relieved I didn't have to watch him die a horrible death in the end ... That was always my worst fear. I was all right with Shepard's demise as I had foreseen that, but I don't think I could have dealt with Garrus dying.

I believe he does die if you have him in your party at the end and your War Assets are too low.

Oh really? Wow, I didn't know that ... Still don't quite understand how he made it from the face of the Earth, right in front of that transport-beam, onto the Normandy in my endings though.
Ha ha, yes me too. I really wanted everything. I'm still missing something though as I never unlocked the achievment for bringing most of the assets into the final conflict. No idea what it is even after five playthroughs. :/

I believe you have to have 100% in every theater as well for that achievement, which you only get via multiplayer =/

There must be something else, I've had 100% for a long time now and played MP for a couple of weeks and still didn't get it. It really bugs me, I'll have to Google this and see if I can get any useful tips.

Well, I might have figured it out: maybe you should play the Campaign up until the final mission, and then revv your MP readiness upp to 100% and THEN play the final Campaign mission? That way you really are bringing 'most' of the galactic assets into the final conflict?
I haven't played for a few weeks now though so my MP readiness is probably back down to 50% and I'm too lazy to do anything about it right now, lol. But I'll try for it later and see what happens.

That's what I'm planning to do - since the game came with a two day gold membership. But since it's only two days I'm waiting until the new DLC comes out so I can have everything perfect and nice.

Right, I should warn you though, this game has a kicking function, meaning other players can decide to kick you out of the pre-game lobby. Happens a lot to me because I started playing long after everyone else (well, mostly everyone else) and I still haven't played that much and my rating is low. You might find it very difficult to find a game since we all start out as 'N7 1' and some people are probably getting close to 2,000 by now. Don't give up though, if you have friends to play with, ask them to invite you, you'll get the hang of things really soon.
