Dr. Nefarious, drifting in space. Started off as just a doodle, but i decided to keep working on it. Took me a fair while, since its all done in biro.*Spoilers for 'RaCF:A Crack in Time'*
This is after Nefarious' base is blown up. He is left drifting, non-functional amongst the debris (At least, until Lawrence comes and retrieves him, i bet

Nefarious is pretty much my favourite Ratchet and Clank character. I like most of the characters (other favourites being Ratchet and Clank themselves, Rusty Pete, Sigmund etc) but he's taken the number 1 spot, somehow.

I really love the mood in this picture. And I love the way his legs are blurred but the rest of his body is in focus, it gives the effect of movement. It's a very dynamic piece, that's all I can say.

This is likely one more intresting fanart I've seen done with this guy being its a bit more serious from others. Nefarious is my 2nd fav character in the series *Sigmund stoled my heart more this time around*, so it's kinda nice to see something other than humor with this guy.
The shading is surely the strong point of this image and gives it more dramatic feel. Also the fact it's in Black and White also fits the mood.
And turst me this won't be the last time we see of this guy. The credits are Forshadowing something thats for sure. Also I don't think Lawrence is that much of a heartless asshole to leave his employer behind. And besides Armin Shimerman= WIN! I don't think Nefarious would be seen in the same light with a diffrent voice actor.

Yeah... Nefarious is predominantly comic relief, and i think most wouldn't want anything else. This picture is a product of my interest in finding a different effect for him, and i'm glad you appreciate it. I'm fond of Sigmund too... it broke my heart when we saw him watching Orvus' final message 
I'm glad it turned out this way. When i'm sketching with biros, i don't really think about how the absence of colour may impact on the mood of the picture.
Haha! well, Nefarious is the devil he knows. If Lawrence wanted to find another boss, i'm not sure if they would put up with his snarkyness

Well being a big fan of Nefarious over the years, I thought it was nice to see him not be taken as a joke for ones, even if it's only fanart and not the real deal. Kinda didn't like how he was betrayed in the game after the boss battle.
And I knoooow D= I cried waay to much at that.
If you used a more dark tone of color, it would still work, but I prefer the B&W vibe. Gives it a more gloomy effect I think.
Nefarious isn't very street smart (yet again not so sure if he's high in the brain deparement nether), so it's hard for him to pick up on such things. And besides, you can't have Nefarious with out Lawrence. It just wouldn't be the same.

Alot of people were unhappy afterwards. You should have seen the amazing topic we had started by one of the mods who is a big Nefarious fan. Nerd Rage to the max. XD Mad at first, but not now. Just kinda annoyed. I know he's a humorist character but I don't see any death humorist, not matter who he is.
IG was suripse from the out cry that it was meationed on the FMS podcast they do.
I just think Lawrence has nothing better to do until he gets his rockband together.

Well how they see it was that there are serious deaths, and funny deaths. To be frank, I can't see any death being funny. Sure Of I love Nefarious because he's funny as all hell, but at the same time it really did annoy me that he had to end like that.
I cracked up when they meationed it being I was also part of that topic. Looking back at, it's quiet amusing.
Nefarious should retire from evil doing and learn the drums am I right?

Love the concept and strokes! Very... I think surreal is the word I'm looking for, maybe flowing. It's definitely art, I know that.
I'm pretty sure Lawrence did indeed pick up Nefarious' body at one point, because during the credits they said there wasn't a body to recover. Who knows, because Insomniac has definitely proven they can tell a good story, and they might end up doing something with him in the (probably distant) future.
