This is beautiful (although I dont think Liv is very beautiful *shrugs*). I love the color you used. That little hint of green on the inner corner of her eye is so cool....I dont know exactly what it does but it makes her seem almost erethral. you know? Wonderful details; the eyes, the lashes, and her hair (even her eyebrows). I'm always to afraid to attempt a realistic colored pencil peice. Do you color directly on a pencil sketch or do you start with the colored pencils? Some people shade with the pencil (kind of a light grayscale) then color directly over it...whats your method? Whatever it is, you do it brilliantly!!!

Thanks, I'm really glad you liked it! With this pic I drew the basic outline in pencil and did all the rest with just colours. You should definitely try a realistic coloured piece, I'm sure it would come out wonderfully with your colouring skills!

Ok... maybe I will try. But I don't know if I'd be very good at it. with pencil I like that I can erase back to a lighter color or even to white.... my colored pencils don't ever fully cooperate when I erase. lol. But, I am curious.
