Thanks! I saw a couple pictures today of frozen soap bubbles you photographed. It's pretty amazing how the frost patterns develop as it freezes. I'd like to try it sometime(winter is pretty long here.) It makes me wonder if you could spray a liquid on really cold glass and  get patterns to develop. I always see beautiful frost creations near river's edges, but it's usually where the water and ice meet and not a good idea to stand on. Nature produces amazing creations.

Welcome, my pleasure.

Yeah it is really amazing, each and every one of them is unique like a snowflake.

Yeah I don't know if you could do that, I suppose some frost would appear.

I use sugar, corn starch, water and dish dawn soap to make the snow globe bubbles.

Nature is magic, everything it creates is beyond what any human could do.

I really like the photo's of the frost on the windows that you do, is that just like that or did you do something to make that happen?

The window frost formed by itself between two panes of glass that that the seals are no longer working (old double pane windows.) Moisture is sneaking in there and the cold does the rest. I was just wondering if the windows were cleaner, and I spray or pour your mixture on the outside if something similar would happen. I'll mix some up and try it. If anything interesting happens I'll let you know.

Go to that site, I did a little research myself and apparently you can do this as well. I'm sure the frost would turn out better than the photo they show, it does no justice compared to others I've seen that do the same thing.

I'm going to be trying this one myself, looks fun!

Yeah paint brush probably much less messy than pouring it down the side of the house.  Bought some corn syrup today supposed to -5F tonight. I'll try it tomorrow morning. It's vanilla scented too, so even if it fails, my house will smell nice.  I'll let you know.

Awesome! I've got everything to do it as well, so I'm also going to try making it up and painting it on the window tonight. Tomorrow morning I will take the photo.

Look forward to seeing how yours turns out and excited to try it as well.

I've got the vanilla stuff too, hopefully it will smell like vanilla.

Didn't smell to fresh. I prefer my food not seasoned  with sand.
