Here is some work for the front of a flyer we are using for promotion for the band.... We're trying to keep the theme for our new album similar with everything we do, thus it looks just like [link] and will look just like the website design, which should be up in a week or so. LOL, i'm suprised you've never seen that technique before. Its the whole new trend in em well everything I guess. With the blow up off emo-core music lately, the mixing of beautiful emo singing and harsh punk screaming, has kinda taken an affect i think. A lot of "grunge" designers are using very pretty lettering etc. in the art work. The idea is so awesome to me, hence the name "a beautiful tragedy", because i think that life is very similar because their are some many beautiful little parts, but yet its all fucked up, and its amazing all at the same time.

I understand i absoluetly love how they look, but sadly no i didn't take the picture i'm not that good of a photographer. I used a stock photo from He's a great photographer. And yah its really close to the peice you faved, but this is a verions for a flyer design, and the other one was some work for the website.

I think the concept of this picture just couldnΒ΄t be more brilliant. ItΒ΄s very graphic and manages to send a powerful message trough. Exellent job

Well, the font is a reworked version of Rothenburg Decorative, but the normal font doesn't look near that cool. I did a lot of work with loops and scratches in order to do the effect that we really wanted, also I spun some letters around and stuff.
