Thanks for the info. I have them each year in various parts of my yard and never knew what they were. They bloomed a few days ago here.

I'm in Jackson County, MS. Its been raining enough that I expect some of them may start growing pretty soon. I'd have to look but my yards kind of a big pool at the moment.

Small world indeed. I meet with a little photography group practically every Thursday. We used to meet at the Nutty Bavarian in Singing River Mall. But the coffee shop is relocating to Pascagoula and should reopen next week at its new location.

If you're interested, you should stop by some Thursday (at 7pm). Its just a bunch of photography enthusiasts but we're always happy to meet new people, share ideas, and critique eachother's photos.
