You wouldn't believe how much I understood everything in this whole tutorial. Just earlier I was like, WTF, how do I do this?!?! Pulling my hair out in frustration. I happen to come across this looking for some Photoshop inspiration, and started actually seeing how you do all of these things. Now that I have a basic understanding for 3DSMax, I think I will be more efficient with the work I will do. The only question I have is, the camera that you attached to the head bone, is that used to make the First person view in games aswell? Or just for movies? Thanks. I'm faving this.

Wow! Thanks a lot for your superb comment ^^! I'm very happy to have been able to help you.

As for the head-attached camera, mmh... That was an idea I had mostly by myself so I don't know if it is used elsewhere. However, being a programmer, I'd say that it'd be very surprising if this technique was used in FPS. I guess that most FPSes simply use a floating camera that stands at a certain distance from the ground to simulate a head point of view, calculating the eyes and head displacement with the bones would be using much more computationnal power. In movies however, I'd wouldn't be surprised if they used similar techniques, but you don't often get seeing from a person's point of view.

Well, our goal is:
1- To help other users of 3dsmax
2- To showcase their tutorials(because a group of deviants is always much better known than an alone deviant)

so, wht's the problem?
