Just had a look through your gallery after leaving my initial comment. I wasn't wrong - your work is totally gorgeous, and you have the kind of style that I want mine to be someday. I particularly like your bold colours and strong lines - your art has so much 'pop', and looks so professional in nature. You have a real talent for making the drawing jump off the page - it's almost like it's drawn in neon, such is the way it impacts upon the eye.
I read your latest journal entry, too... it's sad that people were using what you enjoy to demean and criticise you, and a shame that it's hit you to the extent that you've cut back on one of your interests. My only advice is that it's important to keep in mind how easy it is to take the anonymity that the Internet gives you, and screw with it - and that there are so many people out there who are ready to abuse it, because they know they can get away with doing so.
Having said that, it might be a good idea that you're putting the effort you would have spent cosplaying into your artwork - it just makes the art so much better. I mean, it was great to begin with, but I can't begin to fathom just how much more awesome your work is now that you're focusing on it. Beauuuutiful stuff.
Maybe one day I'll get to your level, but by then you'll be even better, and then I'll have a new target to aspire to... the journey of artistry isn't always an easy one, but that makes the end goal so much sweeter.
