Thanks for the great comments on my poetry, 19 of them! I just don't know where to start in relpying.

First lets solve the military tone to so many of them. The green beret on the sword in the Tribute photo is mine. It was issued to me in 1970. I am a combat veteran and that has colored alot of my poetry. I am a trained sniper, and was disabled during a training exercise. After leaveing the military I did a few years of government service, aned a few years as a freelance military man (mercenary).

The movie Soldier I own on both vhs tape and DVD. I love the movie even though I agree it is not the best made movie, but because I understand what he is going through.

Rebirth, yes it is about my wife.

The Chaos poem speaks to so many, on such a deep primal level. When I wrote it I though no one would understand how I was feeling. Boy, was I ever wrong on that one.

A Monster is a very private and personal poem. Putting it up took a good deal of thought

I want to compliment you as being only one of two people to ever get the snake symbolism in 'Yet Again'. It was intentionl on my part and only one other person has ever gotten it, he was my room mate in college. He was also an ex-ranger who had gone through sniper school.

I took great pleasure in reading your comment and insight into my poetry. I look forward to reading more as we go along. And should you at the end find a place in the halls of Valhalla, I will be there to share a drink with you.
