and am so chuffed to hear you are well. Are you active in the creative
photography still?

On my side, yes, all is fine. Thank you so much for asking. Had a major
move not too long ago to a new home after 27 years and this "new" place is
a fixer-upper in spades. Needless to say, it has been an all-consuming project...

Anyway, please stay well and happy, and I'll be sending good thoughts out to you
as always.

Hi there!  So good to hear from you!  Yes, I'm doing quite well, busy as always and no, I haven't taken a picture in a couple of years.  I think about it every so often but my heart's just not in it. 

Sooo, you moved huh?  Fixer uppers are ok but a lot of work.  Are you happy with what you've done so far?  If I know you, I KNOW it will be amazing with your creativity at work!!! 

Thanks again for the good thoughts, I can always surround myself with them.

Indeed, "moved" -- actually forced off my land of 27 years by a contractor who wanted
the earth of the hillside as landfill for a shopping mall!!... (The story of our lives and history
repeats, yes?) I actually wept...

But this latest place is quite nice in that it is located near a pond with ducks, cranes and lovely trees.
The neighbors are likewise agreeable, and it is a busy but still quiet-ish existence. A step up, definitely.

So far, I have replaced the floors both upstairs and in the kitchen. New sink and appliances,
but had several structural "surprises" along with a bad HVAC system...Very expensive, so many other
projects will have to wait a while. The "eye candy" will definitely be on hold, alas.

Ah well, it will keep me busy for years to come!

Oh dear, I can only imagine how heartbreaking that would have been.  I've been in the same place for 22 years so I do understand.  I do hope you are happy where you are now.  I must say I'm envious of the quietness and the beauty.  I live in the city with lots and lots of noise.  I am looking to buy something in the country as I'm looking to retire soon.  I NEED some rest and beauty in my old age, lol.

Good luck on your upgrades and remember to enjoy the beauty along the way.

subdivision, but still peaceful from my side.
