No, I have not. I belonged to another online group around 10 or so years ago, and I met up with a few of them in Birmingham. In the UK, of course.
I'd be interested in going to one if I could. Though I would need to use public transport.

Greetings! Β Quiet. I live with my mother, so it was just the two of us. Didn't have a traditional Christmas dinner as such, but given how I had at least 3 prior to Christmas Day, I wasn't too bothered. How was it for you?

I would have preferred quiet over what took place here. We went to the home of my friend's wife's sister on Christmas Eve - except my friend didn't come because he was in a bad mood, and he'd blown up at his wife the evening before.Β
Christmas Day he wasn't speaking to anyone.

Well, I hope your friend is a lot more cheerful now. Hope you and all concerned keep safe. We hardly have snow around Christmas time. We had rain instead. More typical, but boring to look at. On the plus side, though, it doesn't usually play merry hell with the public transport.
As for the coming year - I'm rather apathetic, I'll admit. The last few years I haven't been bothered to see the new year in. Haven't seen the point. I'll probably be more active here though. Whether that's a good thing remains to be seen.

I haven't been particularly enthusiastic about New Years in a long time - I'm usually in bed by Midnight, or not even watching the clock.
I hope to at least get more reading done on a regular basis in the new year - I'm way behind in that and in writing meaningful comments. Your recent work is among a stack of friends' deviations I need to catch up on. I gave up on the DFC poem-a-day effort. I'll finish each form for certain, but it will be some time in January before I have all 31 done.
