hmmm... you're talking to a cinematography student that knows nothing about darkroom techniques. shame on me... though i do know what exposure time means, in and out of the darkroom.

Ha...pretty close the exposure time means how long it took for the image to be cast onto the paper. So in lamins terms 99 sec. is a long time, it usually only takes 8 to 15 sec. Anywho...maybe I could learn something from you about cinematography.
