Sounds like you've been busy. I'm sorry about those pets but at least you're getting some more. That does help. I remember when my bird Mosby died. At first I couldn't see getting another bird because it just wouldn't be the same. But a week later I decided that room was way too quiet. I needed another friend in there.

Cockatiel. I never closed her cage door she was just free to go in and out as she pleased and fly around my room. One of her favorite places to chill was on top of my closet door. Well one day while I was at school she missed and broke her neck.

Yeah depression sucks. But it's possible to take it by the throat without meds. I've never been on them. Just hang in there and stay positive. Your friend may still live a long life. I know it sounds weird and hard to explain but sometimes that's all it takes to make something happen.
