Twilight Haters and Twilight Fans make me cringe and the Twlight Floaters, the ones who are in-between liking and hating? Just get shunned by both breeds.

Ignore the stamp. Or full support. I don't even like how the person who posted it is going on about how stupid the book was when she didn't even finish it.
But read the two links.

would deaf schizophrenics hear voices? would blind ones see hallucinations?
would you still reply to a response that is six months late?
my name is hannah. i like it because it's a palindrome.
i also like your sculptures and drawings because of the care and skill put into them. and they just so happen to be of my favorite things.
how are you?

six months late??
really?? Has it been that long?
wow you must be a...
really...
.....slow....
..typer...
or maybe you were in a coma.
**crosses my fingers for coma**
waitaminute....
that's a terrible thing to wish for...haha
Im very well, miss Palindrome Hannah.
Thanks for asking...
And how are you doing? Having a good
holiday thus far?
and too bad your last name isn't Bob...
or better yet....boob.....
ummm....yeah...
Im full of terrible ideas...haha
or how about poop??
yeah, Hannah Poop!!
mmmm....that rolls right off the tongue.
Miss Poop..
People could say stuff like;
"That Hannah Poop is one solid Palindrome!!
Must be her fiber-enrich diet....mmm-hmm..."
wait...what were we talking about??
...haha
take care

hannah poop does have a nice ring to it. a friend of mine told me i should have the capability to poop and barf fortune cookies from my semi-asian heritage, so it would seem appropriate to be called that. it could be my stage name for a freak show.
"hannah poop, one, only one, night only!" but the audience wouldnt get poop, just highly inappropriate fortunes in badly shaped cookies.
and i am not a slow typer. i resent that. sorta. i'm a slow...thinker? i dunno. i dont have an excuse. i just happened to notice the comment on my page and went for it. "went for it" as in being less rude when there are direct questions and responding to them.
maybe a coma would be like an enlightening experience? i could find out what people really thought about me while they were around my hospital bed. or on the street, maybe people would let me just leave me where i got one. assuming people in coma's could even hear other people. maybe it would sound like the adults on peanuts?
holidays are boring, but needed. though i'm sure halloween is jealous that it doesnt have a pre-requisite holiday like christmas and new year's. i think some people get too jazzed up and lose there previous rigor for the actual holiday.
whoops, there i go again, pretending there's something to really say.
how was yours?

semi-asian heritage??
I guess my full asian heritage would enable
me to poop a full fest of delights to feed
a country.....why am I still talking about
this stuff???...haha
I appologize for not responding sooner..
I've been busy with stuff.
My holiday was alright I suppose. I can't
rememeber what I did...haha. I assume it was
alright. Watched a lot of dvds...
...Im a bit of an dvd fanatic.....haha

dvd fanatic? as in you are a fan of the actual disc or of the movie on it? if that's the case of the disc, i have an odd affair with mix tapes :]
ASIANS ARE ALIENS. that's the conclusion i've come to. how can a country such as china populate at such a rapid rate and not have more dramatic revolts and revolutions? how does japan fit every person on their islands?
they must compact and fold into little pods, they ARE oragami! THEY LAY EGGS AND FEED THEM FORTUNE COOKIE- BARF!

haha I like the content on the dvd more
than the actual disc.....but now that
you say it, I guess I am a fan of the
disc as well....
...oh and yeah....cassette tapes are awesome too.
....so are VHS tapes. I have a few unusable
VHS tapes that were chewed up by a bad VCR
saved for a rainy day..
ah....I also see that you've discovered
the secrets to the Japanese...
...now how can we exploit their tiny foldable bodies?...hmm
but yeah, back to the dvd thing....I am
a dvd fanatic. So says my 700 plus dvd collection.
I don't watch them though. I just like to
stack them and smell them...haha

gee whiz, seven hundred? i would hope there's some david lynch in there, maybe some charlie chaplin. and the marx brothers! are there foreign films? like Little Otik?
buh, i hardly ever watch movies. shame sometimes, especially when people quote movies that are very popular and i have no idea what they're talking about.
ah, sorry! i'm being nosy...um. dvds have a cool shape. and if you put discs in the microwave, they get interesting holes.
just. just sayin. bahumbug. callypigian.

yep over 700 dvds...
....or I should say "over 700 titles".
If you were to count every disc it would
be over 1100 discs...haha
Yeah I've got some David Lynch...
...I don't have any Chaplin or Marx
Brothers though. Although I was very
close to buying some Chaplin dvds a few
years ago. I had them in my hands, but
ended up buying some obscure Superman
cartoons from the 40's/50's instead...haha
I don't have Little Otik....Svankmajer dvds
are too expensive for my budget...haha
I've only got his Alice movie on dvd...
I do have a lot of foreign dvds. Half of
my collection is foreign movies...the
majority is comprised of Asian movies though.
So why do you hardly watch movies?
That's all I ever do when Im not sculpting.
...watch movies or read the science section
of the newspaper...haha

CatScratchZodiac In reply to Ballistyc [2009-02-14 04:04:18 +0000 UTC]
well, watching movies is an expensive hobby, like most, but i find it..hm..difficult? it's too much pressure for me to pick up a dvd and decide if i should buy it or not. for one, i'd never seen it before, so what if the description was great, but the movie was horrible? do i buy it based off the actors, or off the director? should i go for director's cut, the price, what language it's in, or just the way the cover looks?
after a while i get too nervous and just walk away from them. i also dislike the seeing faces on the cover. pictures can be manipulating.
the only asian foreign films i've seen were...pretty bad. not gonna lie. i dont know if i have a language issue, or androgynous issues, but i cant sit through them.
how can you watch them all the time? do you have to limit how many you watch a day, or do you do marathons? do you even go out to theatres?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Ballistyc In reply to CatScratchZodiac [2009-02-15 02:37:11 +0000 UTC]
Watching movies could be an expensive hobby
if you're like me and choose to buy every dvd
you see...haha, but I thought this generation
was quite fond of piracy? You could always go
in that direction.....everything is just one
click away.
but I guess that doesn't solve your indecisiveness...haha
If you need a recommendation I can lend you a
hand.
Im actually very interested in knowing what Asian
movies you've watched as well. I've seen a lot
of bad ones too, but when they are good they blow
away anything in Hollywood..
I usually like watching movies while Im sculpting.
If it's a movie I've never seen then I'll save it
for when I have some free time so I can give it my
full attention, that's usually at night.
At my peak movie watching years though I averaged
about 3-4 movies a day. Life literally evolved around
movies those years.....they were college years too...haha
I don't go to the theatre that often. Last movie
I saw was Benjamin Button, and a great Swedish
horror film called "Let the Right One In"..
oh and I don't do marathons...
I learned my lesson when I did a Studio Ghibli
marathon on a weekend, and spent the following
week dreaming in Japanese...
...and I don't speak Japanese...haha

i don't even remember what they were called! there was this one where this baby had all its limbs taken away with no eyes or ears. but for some reason it could speak, sorta, telepathically. so a scientist picks him out of a river and gives him limbs, though his arms are actually swords and he covers them with faux hands. the graphics were so bad.. and "moon child". i didnt like that at all.
but i liked "the eye" and "the eye two". those were awesome, to me at least. have i mentioned that i haven't seen many movies? i'm horrible with titles as well. for example, i've just remembered that i saw another asian film that was amazing, but i have no idea what it's called. i'll have to ask someone.
i hate piracy! it makes me feel so guilty. and the quality usually sucks anyway. i can't stand to watch things on the computer screen. i'm spoiled, i need a big screen. but suggestions would be nice, please. i need a direction in my movie pursuit.

wow that baby movie sounds fascinating...haha
seriously it sounds like it's right up my alley.
Ironically enough though I hated "The Eye". Great concept, but the ending was horrid. It does however have one of the creepiest scenes I've seen. Im talking about the scene with the ghost lady licking the BBQ Pork....jeez....
If you liked "the Eye" go check out this Thai horror film called "Shutter". Hollywood recently remade it....Im sure they probably butchered everything, so don't see the American remake. Watch the orignal Thai film.
I recommend you some other films if you want.
What's your favourite film?
Maybe I can get a sense of what to recommend you from that.
take care...

my favorite film? it's a tie between donnie darko and american psycho. but i have a strange penchant for musicals too.
every time i pass by a store with hanging meat i think about that scene :]
i think the baby was called something like dikoccuro. have i mentioned that i can't spell either?
is there a particular website i should look up for "shutter"?

a particular website to look up "Shutter"?
....you mean to download the film, or to see a review?
well if here's a direct link to stream it online [link]
I would post a link about the film, but I always believe that the least you know about a film the better it is. Just know that it's from Thailand and it's about ghosts..
so you like Donnie Darko and American Psycho?....hmm
I think I have those both on dvd....haha
I recommed this korean movie called "Oldboy" if you like stuff like American Psycho. I think Oldboy is one of the best movies to come out in the last 10 years. It's certainly on my top 20 list. It's a mind boggling mystery/thriller about a happy-go-lucky man who one day finds himself awake in a prison cell. Kidnapped and held captive for 15 years. It's a very emotionally intense piece of drama.
Im trying to think of a film that's similar to Donnie Darko....hmm.
I don;t think there is....haha...
Have you ever seen "Memento"??? It's not exactly Donnie Darko, but there's a element of "Deus Ex Machina"....divine intervention thrown into a non-linear crime story of revenge. It's also another amazing film. The year it came out I obsessively talked about it to the point where I began to alienate and annoy my friends...haha
Here's a link where you can stream Memento online. [link] OE048QV
I couldn't find a streamable links for "Oldboy", but I can post some download links if you want.....or of course you can always go and rent it.
....or just buy it on dvd like I do...haha....nah don't do that it's too costly, and you have no idea if you'd like it.
take care...drive safely
