I thought it was beautiful! Very well done! I've been getting back into my sketching after finishing art school (and being afraid of art for a while, how sad is that?), and have been looking for inspiration, and I definitely found it in your story! Would you mind if I did some art based off of the story? Please let me know!

It hasn't really been anyone putting me down, I just got really burned out during art school doing projects that my heart wasn't invested in, and then I had nothing left for my own work afterwards... it's taken me a while to get back to it, but I've slowly been recovering, haha.
I'm sorry to hear about your lost art and poetry book, but I'm glad you believed in yourself and kept it up.
I'm also a perfectionist, thinking it has to be completely perfect before even starting, or I will keep redoing something until I get it or burn out doing so. I just also have very little patience and self esteem for what I do, haha. But I know the passion is there, nagging at me... I figured I'd start back with fanart seeing as the work really pulls into my imagination. I'm on a roll now though! 
I'll be more than happy to do some sketches for this story, and actually, for right now, I'd really appreciate it if I could keep my art on dA, for right now, I hope you understand.
