Painter 2017 to make the frames (basically any software with layers will do, Gimp, Photoshop, etc), then save every frame as individual picture and make the gif in gifcreator.me/ . If you'd have Photoshop, you can export every layer as a standalone picture, which makes work faster if you'd have many frames - but I don't have it, so I save them by hand, not in bulk For my first animation here on dA (the one with the skater) I used Pencil. It's a free animation software, but in my case doesn't read the pressure from the tablet, so this time I've done things differently. If you'd have any more questions, I'll gladly answer
