I am a very busy bee and I'm working on a lot of projects, but I am having a lot of fun with life out here in North Carolina.
Do you have iscribble? That is a good place to draw online and chat with people. I've met a lot of cool artists there and it's really fun to watch people draw.
As far as pointers go, draw every single day, draw from references, draw plants animals and machinery, draw everything! Anatomy is super important and hard to master but you just need to practice. Don't ever feel like you can't draw from a reference photo because its NOT cheating, its a tool to help you do better.
When selling your art you want to take into account your cost of time and materials, so if your drawing on paper and using things like colored pencils or markers you want to factor that in as well so you can replace your used materials when they run out.
I see you're going for a cutesy anime style, which is great! Something for you to focus on specifically might be looking at the artwork of an artist you admire and trying to replicate the best you can. Pay attention to line weight, color, shading, shapes, and don't forget to try it again and again until you can do it without thinking about it.
Practice doesn't make perfect, but it makes you better!
