first 15 minutes only thumbnails, that's it thumbnails and quick sketches get it all out of your brain...
next 30 mins of grayscale and block in a simple background maybe... get "general" detail nothing to crazy
last 15 mins final touches, get those details in, maybe add effects when you are done see how far you get.
It helps to build speed and help get you used to planning a piece.
