Chomper — Description

Okay, this one is my magnum opus. When i was initially planning to model every plant, this was the one I was most terrified of. Every other plant from the Day set are simple shapes, but this guy looked like a complex nightmare. When I first started modelling him, i struggled to even make the shape of his mouth (face?) for a solid hour. What ended up happening was I accidentally made a cool spikey sphere, and instead turned that into a character's hair. So essentially, I got sidetracked bc I really didn't want to figure out how to make this guy. Two days later, and it turns out it wasn't as terrible as I thought. It was mostly tedious, with all those teeth, and the curve of his mouth. I can't say i'm 100% happy with how his mouth looks, but I can't think about that. This one got some very nice compliments, so yeah, I'm happy with it. I also nailed this gradient background.
