Description

The final Omnitrix alien of the UAF era!

The Gimlinopithecus of Pattersonea are a fairly interesting species as they posses the ability to absorb static electricity via their fur. This ability came from exposure to subterranean crystals which carried an electric charge. The Gimlinopithecus already had a great amount of fur due to Pattersonea having a slow rotation and if one is caught on the "night" side, temperatures drastically drop, so warm fur and seeking shelter underground is needed for survival. Pattersonea also has a weak magnetic field and is subject to spikes of cosmic radiation hitting the planet's surface. Centuries of this made the species able use their electricity to cover themselves in a bio-electric field, allowing them to survive thanks to limited radiation resistance.

Shocksquatch has four layers of fur starting with his light black base layer above his skin, then the grey fur layer, then the total black fur layer, and finally, his outer most layer which is a yellowish white and can collect the most static out of all layers with it and the three layers underneath helping it to absorb the every trace of static, even some that the other layers might miss. Shocksquatch unleashes his built up electricity through his disc bolts and if he holds it in for too long, an electric field over Shocksquatch's body and make him dangerous to come into contact with. Shocksquatch is equipped with large feet and his soles have barbs on them in order to have traction when traversing icy terrain.

As for weaknesses, Shocksquatch does not too well in warmer climates, being in a tropical or desert climate could run the risk of him overheating. Though Shocksquatch is capable of resisting radiation to a degree, he has his limits. He could take exposure to an unarmored Prypiatosian-B for a total of five minutes before his bio-electric field fails.

Though they are similar in looks Shocksquatch and the Gimlinopithecus are not related to the Earth Cryptids known as Sasquatch, Yeti, and Hibagon. The Saturdays checked DNA samples against Shocksquatch's with a collection of some fur strands.
