Description
My reimagining of Squatt from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.In his new story, Squatt was a baby when his parents offered him to Ritari Pulsa, in exchange for their lives when the witch was invading their world. But Ritari struck them down and took their baby anyways. What started out as an owner and pet relationship turned into strange one of a mother and child. Squaht grew into quite the large, tough warrior. He didn't have finesse in his fighting but he can charge at an enemy and rarely ever be stopped unless he wants to. Squaht loyally serves his queen, but rarely gets along with Ritari's other generals. The only one he can ever call friend is Babookalor.
Squaht has an armor made with durable underarmor made from Glozark scales and power armor made with laser spikes and heatwave generators to make him hard to get next to in a fight.

Sort of.
The shows that MMPR was adapted from were all fantasy-based. That’s why original main villain, Rita, was a wicked witch.
It’s what makes Lord Zedd stand out as weird in comparison to the manticore (Goldar), the leprechaun (Finster), the vampire (Baboo), and the hobgoblin (Squatt).

I love that they gave him a backstory in the comics. I didn't ask for it, but I loved that we got it.

I really appreciate the love and care the team writing the comics had when making them. It really helped flesh out the original story and characters.

Yeah, it just shows that even the most basic of henchmen can have backstories that expand them into slightly more complex characters if given the right stories written for them.

It'd also explain why, with how Rita's written, she'd put up someone as bumbling as him. It's a nice bit of expansion. They gave Goldar a rather tragic backstory and Finster something so dark I'd never have conceived it for him.

That's true. Oh yeah, I saw those stories too. Never would have gotten a sense of how dark Finster really was just from the show.

True that. I guess they were imagining what kind of character would seem so whimsical at the thought that he was creating life for the sole purpose of destroying and conquering worlds and be so HAPPY to work with someone like that. Took it to the logical conclusion I imagine.

That's cool. Squatt is definitely a lot more menacing and unlike his counterpart a fighter. Also glad you kept his backstory from the boom!comics intact
