Power Rangers - The Stand - Epilogue — Description

Because it was the end of my Power Ranger Epic, I had to do an epilogue. Which I purposely timed to release a few hours after I posted the end of the Trilogy.

It had been six months since the Atlanteans were defeated and Ava finds herself returning to a familiar cliff. Only now instead of an empty clearing there sits a restaurant. Ava finds a table outside and has a seat. Remy then emerges from the building and takes the seat across from her. The two then begin to reminisce about the old days. After a few minutes a large humanoid shark comes out of carrying a drink tray. Remy explains that his name is Bruce, and that "the tourists love him, especially the kids". The two have drinks as they continue their discussion.

Ava explains that the Atlantean threat unified the planet. But now that they're gone there seems to be a power struggle over whether or not the peace continues, a notion she finds ironic. For the time being Ava is in charge of the United Defense Force, but she makes a point of acknowledging she would never ask Remy to join. Especially considering she didn't even have any Rangers any more. Her volunteers all joined up through various deals. Dante needed money to pay off his Phd, now he's a Paleontologist running some museum in California. Elliot wanted to open his own martial arts dojo, now he owns over a hundred acres and runs one of the premiere martial arts academies in the world. And Mallory, well she just wanted to go to space. Now she is in charge of the UDF's space exploration unit preparing for launch.

But she was curious as to that last trick Remy pulled during the fight. Remy tells her he simply purified the Morphers. Explaining that considering if Emperor Ragnor could use dark magic to corrupt the Morphers, it stood to reason light magic could purify them. So he spent a decade learning Atlantean magic in order to set his plan in motion. All he needed, was a connection to the two separate Ranger teams. This is why he merged all those Morphers; to establish a connection between them all.

Remy offers to teach her, but was met with a very quick "my Ranger days are behind me". To which she asks about him and whether or not he'll ever suit up again. Remy glances over at a familiar blue haired waitress and answers that he might have one last adventure in him. He then turned back to his guest and asked if she ever wondered "why?". Ave was visibly confused by his statement so Remy clarified. The Atlanteans had technology thousands of years more advanced than Earth had even in the present day, and they had it at the dawn of civilization. Why did they have that technology, why didn't they look quite human, and was it possible there was something out there more dangerous than the Atlanteans.

It was then a group of Green United Defense Force Rangers walked up to them and told Ava they had to go. Ava explained the the UDF learned they could mass produce Rangers, so instead of a select few they now have Sentries. She then calmly stood up, thanked Remy for the drink, and accompanied her entourage to a waiting helicopter. She stopped for a moment however to admire a stature. Beneath a statue was a plaque that read "They gave their lives in the fight against Evil" and resting on the base, were five colored coins. Ava smiled, reaching into her pocket and retrieving her own pink coin. She placed it with the others before stepping onto the helicopter.
