Distant look in my eyes.
While the world spins and goes on,
I think back to your lies.

The attempts to make me feel guilty,
The way you shamed me to my friends.
The taunting laugh as you hurt me-
But this is where my suffering ends.

Save the sound of the world,
And our breathing within.
