But remember to keep the escape route clear.
Hold onto something to keep you stable,
Tread careful and quiet so that it doesn’t hear.

Try to hold on as your sanity escapes you,
Don’t worry the exit’s not too far.
Once you reach for the doorway
And step out and breath you’ll realise how lucky you are.

It’s gripping your head,
Ripping you apart,
Twisting emotions,
Hurting your heart,
Breaking your bones,
Turning you to mush,
Stopping your breathing,
But wait-shush!

It’s heard you; it’s searching,
It’s seen where you are,
Run! Escape! Get out!
Take a left at my heart’s scar.

Search for the sign and don’t look back,
Don’t let it seek and capture you too.
Open the door it’s not too far,
I told you not to come, but you wouldn’t listen would you?
