Blood boiling,
Bubbling within.
Thoughts corrupt me,
Overcome with sin.

Adrenaline rushing over me,
Awake and aware.
Barefoot over broken glass,
Too dead to care.

Shimmering moonlight,
Illuminates my face.
As I walk with no purpose,
No composure, no grace.

The dogs howl the night away,
What precious hours these are.
My eyes see better in black,
But I’ve walked too far.

It’s silent here,
Cold and dead.
Lifelessly haunting,
On bodies I tread.
