Picture of Essence with Ghost Essence looming over her. Try to ignore the crappy background, the trees and dead bushes fail XPGET READY FOR SOME READING, here's the story behind these two.
Essence ("Sister Wolf")
Due to humans fighting, slaughtering each other, turning on their own brothers, lovers tearing each other apart, and the world slowly dying in more ways than one, Sister Wolf had caught an illness.
The illness was put on her and progressively, she is dying, each day getting worse and worse.
Soon she will die and her spirit will be free to roam.
So whenever she is feeling those negative emotions caused by the constant sickness of negativity across the world, she vomits blood and black muck.
(Blood being her life, the black muck being the pollution and sin in the world)
FYI: Essence is 75% wolf and 25% Maned Wolf. When she was a pup she had floppy ears because they were too big for her. Now she has grown into them and the mane down her spine has become prominant. I know that Maned Wolves don't have exaggerated manes like Essence does, but this is reasoned with the chemical imbalances with the mixed blood.
Ghost of Sister Wolf
She is a little different, her main colors are black and white, her eyes are a soulless white. She has black swirls on her face and on her body.
The illness eventually kills her. She still vomits black muck, but no blood since she has no life within her.
She cannot speak. And you cannot see her. She is confused by this and continues searching for answers, neither accepted into the afterlife or into life itself.
She still has her mane but it has faded white as well. She is still short with thin legs and large ears to indicate her bloodline of mixed blood.
The swirls on her body are black to portray the world's sins. Soon the swirls will encompass her body, darkening her fur until she is black.
This is will be the end of Sister Wolf, and she will be gone. Neither a being or an entity.
It will eat her and she will be...nothing....

This is just too amazing for words!!!! The story behind this is just up my alley, too <3 I gotta remember to put my character CrossHound's background story up here one of these days.
Long story short, CrossHound is the oldest living werewolf. She is half-angel (her father was an angel) and has pretty much been charged with the protection of the world (thus her name is CrossHound Protector). She is psychic, and can see all that will be, all that may be, and all that is. (She can't see the past though--that's her mate's thing ;3) The only thing she can't see is her own future. She is weary, after 5,223 years on this earth, but still she continues....

I've been doing that a lot lately (making people's days). First with randomness about BANANAS!!!! and now for wanting to do gift art :3 I'm on a roll!!! <3
I draw my own characters too much--I need diversity ;3 I love drawing all different kinds of things, so doing gift art for peeps not only makes them happy 
You don't have to do anything :3 but if you want, you could draw one of my (many) wolf characters (or one of the different animals is fine with me too) I have a folder in my gallery for my wolf OCs <3 though some of it is all old and awful-looking :/ ....it's been a long time since I looked through there. I wonder what all I have in there? *goes to check*

The background is quite good, and the way Ghost fades where Essence is, just brilliant. The difference in the wolves, yet the similarities is lovely and really gives a focus and focal point.

Background is better than what i can do. The trees snow & shrubs look good so hush. Lol Awesome job on the shading of both wolves. Ghost Essence looks badass. Love the symbolism. I love this drawing.
