My Soulmate.. — Description
This is a drawing I made as my beacon of hope and understanding. A while ago, one of the things that would often worry me is that I'd try to imagine how it would work to have a love partner in my life, and I'd think about how I wouldn't be able to be any sort of big financial provider, and even if I could, I'm not even sure I'd want to become that.

I would wonder, who am I to try and invite another person into my chaotic life? For a while I'd give up on the idea of a love partner, but then I'd dream about it and then feel very sad. So not to focus so much on the roles we play, but to focus more on the most important thing, which I think for me is having a soul connection, and remembering that we are all souls on a life journey, and if we had our life completely ready to give, it would leave out the chance to really have an adventure with someone, and to run through a dream until you see where it leads. I think it's better to start with seeing the person for themselves without having a bunch of stuff be in the way, because then you can appreciate actual people.

So this is a picture of a Raccoon and a possum sitting in an abandoned house with just a candle. They don't have much to build life on except for their guitar, flute, and each other, but having so few things is what gives them the freedom to live any possibility that they want together.

It took a lot from my mind to attempt to learn how to color this, when any aspect of a picture is complex, it's hard really set forth what I envision in my head, but at this point it's okay, because I'm always learning more with each attempt..
