The Ropemaker's Daughter — Description
This is a visual representation of an idea and a character I've had in my head for a good two years almost. I was reading a fairy tale from Grimm's in which there was an image of a hanging described as "a dance with the ropemaker's daughter". Although this is most definitely not an illustration of that fairy tale, it is illustrative of a fairy tale I wrote in my head all about an actual character called the Ropemaker's Daughter. One of these days, I will have to make it a point to write the story down along with many others like it that I have yet to really put into words. You'll get to find out more about who and what she really is at that time. Stock used to help create this piece come from *Lisajen-stock for the Ropemaker's Daughter, =markopolio-stock for the skeleton, sxc for the background, and clipart.com for the rope.
