Vector Vengers: Morbius - Midnight Sons — Description

As we inch further into this spooky Halloween season, let's take a brief visit with the Horror-themed corner of the Marvel Universe in the 1990s: the world of The Midnight Sons!
We've seen this guy (and this character art) before, but how about a little context for what ol' Morbius the Living Vampire was up to in the grim and gritty extreme era that was the 90s.
After only appearing occasionally as a villain here and there over the prior decade and change, Marvel decided to try giving Morbius a moment in the Sun once again. Well, Moon, anyway...dude wasn't much for sunlight.
When Ghost Rider experienced a vision which revealed that ancient horror "The Mother of All Demons," also known as Lilith, was going to return to Earth and threaten us all, ol Fire-skull and the original Ghost Rider, Johnny...excuse me...JOHN Blaze (with some secret guidance from Doctor Strange) traveled around collecting the prophecies groups of beings would could stop her: "The Nine," better known as The Midnight Sons. catches breath after exposition burst
And wouldn't you know it, Morby was on the list. After Helping to defeat and imprison Lilith and stop her demon children from destroying humankind, Morbius began a new chapter in his life. A failed attempt on his life resulted in new mutations that made him less, well...insane...and gave him even more vampire-like abilities. But it causes his blood disease to return and slowly begin to kill him. He can only stay alive by drinking blood, but he vows to only drain the life out of "evil" people. So, that's okay then, I guess...who even understands morality anymore, right?
Taking on the alias of Dr Morgan Michaels, Hematologist, Morbius ends up just stealing blood mostly. Hey! People need that, my guy! Eventually, Morbius is bale to be cured of his blood disease, but remained a pseudo-vampire and kept on biting folks.
