Scorpion — Description
Our next villain portrait is for MacDonald "Mac" Gargan, the Scorpion. Using his former private investigator skills, Mac took up a job by J. Jonah Jameson to figure out how Peter Parker was able to get photos of Spider-Man, and maybe find out who the Spider-Man is. However, he was no match for Peter's spider senses. Fed up with not getting any results, Jameson to pay Gargan thousands of dollars to be a test subject in an animal mutation experiment that would infuse him with the DNA of a scorpion, the common predator of a spider. Unfortunately, there were some complications in the process that caused Mac to lose his sanity, and become the villain "Scorpion." Despite how he was created to eliminate Spidey, Scorpion has a stronger hatred towards the Daily Bugle C.E.O. for what he did to him. Along with Spider-Man, Scorpion battled many other heroes such as Captain America, Jewels (a young Jessica Jones), Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers), and lost. Despite many defeats, Scorpion manages to make a come back. Armed with a scorpion themed exo-suit with a large stinger that can create acid projectiles and many other dangerous chemicals, Scorpion continues to try to take down Spider-Man and anyone else that stands in his way. He even once became the Dark Spider-Man/Venom when he joined Norman Osborn's (who was the Iron Patriot at the time) team of "Dark Avengers".

This design is based off the design of Marvel's Spider-Man PS4 game by Insomniac Games. Out of the two duo battles, the battle between him and Rhino was probably the more challenging one, as while you wait to activate a trap for Rhino, you also have to dodge Scorpion's acid blasts and trying to stay in place.

Now, I know many believe that the Lizard was seen briefly in the shadows in the "Spider-Man: No Way Home" trailer, but I'm kind of questioning that. What we see is a big monster-like shadow with a possible tail. What if it is not the Lizard, but the Scorpion instead? We were briefly introduced to Mac Gargan in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" as the dealer Adrian Toomes was meeting on the ferry, and he was the guy Toomes talked to in the prison hallway during the post-credit scene. So, what if Scorpion is one of the Sinister Six members we might see in the upcoming movie? Leave your thoughts about it in the comments.
