Description

When Arwen arrived at the small dock that sunny afternoon she wasn't sure what to suspect. I mean, being a pokemon, and being one that also grew up near a body of water, swimming came naturally to her. So how was she going to teach someone else how? It wasn't a clear cut plan that's for sure. But, as everyone knows, Arwen strives to help others in need and rarely declines a challenge; unless it involves fire or attempting murder, then count her out.

After about an hour of arguing back and fourth with the boy about the first step to swimming is getting out of your comfort zone, aka those odd flooding devices that once laid on his upper arms, she was finally able to strike a deal with letting him swim within the comforts of a tube. It was obvious he still didn't trust her. By what could she do? In fact, the Amaura didn't have to do anything at all! Once they had started bickering about it being time to leave the tube, suddenly, a luvdisc jumped out from within the sea!

"Do you see that?!"

"Wow!" The boy gasped. They were both quite amazed at such a wonderful gift to see. Arwen herself was so distracted she didn't even realize at first the boy was saying he was ready to swim, just like the luvdisc! Perhaps she couldn't grant him that, being as she wasn't a water-type, but it was well worth a shot.

A pokehuman learned how to be a good role model and a boy learned how to swim that day.

This one didn't take me as long as the other mission picture after the fact I sketched it out quickly. I went for a 'What they see' vs. 'What's actually waiting' sort of scenario featuring whalewhale 's bby Nico hunting for fish below. At first, the underwater scene looked much better then the upper half but then something happened and the top turned out better. Overall I have mixed feelings about this piece. There's sections I'm proud of and other's I can see my mistakes glaring at me and its kinda upsetting, but, that could just be (not there aren't mistakes, course there is, I'm just being over dramatic with them) because I'm feeling really disappointed in my work lately.
There's people younger then me, just simple does it as a hobby, etc. who are doing much better at the sort of work I want to follow a career path with...I keep trying to reason myself why (maybe I started to late, maybe its my techniques, maybe I'm missing something, etc.) I haven't reached certain milestones and honestly I'm a little scared. Oh well hopefully it will pass soon enough. Enjoy!
